After more than 15 years in hairdressing, Laurent Karsenty chose to return to what truly matters: understanding what weakens hair beauty at its source, every single day.
My name is Laurent Karsenty.
For more than fifteen years, I lived for hairdressing. I styled, advised, trained and shared my knowledge. I have always loved this profession for what it does best: revealing a woman, restoring confidence, and teaching young hairstylists to look at hair with precision, sensitivity and high standards.
My journey led me to work with beautiful houses such as La Biosthétique Paris, but also to style hair in exceptional places such as the Shangri-La, the Hôtel de Sers and the Four Seasons, alongside a demanding clientele used to care, detail and excellence.
Then I chose the light of the French Riviera to write a new chapter. In Nice, just steps from the Negresco, I founded LAURENT KARSENTY Coiffure & Beauté, a salon entirely dedicated to hair beauty and scalp care.
Over the years, I welcomed women from all over the world — from Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Asia — with different habits, textures and routines, but often the same concerns: duller hair, drier hair, hair that was harder to manage, and more fragile than it should be.
And through years of observing, listening and supporting women, one thing became obvious to me: water.
Water that can be too aggressive. Water that weighs hair down, dries it out, dulls it and disrupts it. Water we do not always suspect, yet it can change everything in the relationship we have with our hair.
